A City Wide Collaboration

The ZGVM launched a 90-day summer campaign in Toronto as part of a bold and ambitious strategy to help reduce incidents of gun violence. The campaign focused on four main areas: re-engaging new resources and people; improving collaboration between stake holders; celebrating and recognizing success stories and finally; education and awareness about the real roots of gun violence. Since the campaign ended, a fifth area has been added that deals with self-empowerment and civic action.
